This book, released November 25th 2013, discusses the topic of modern virality. Hemsley and Nahon address what exactly virality is, how something goes viral, and how it has changed society. A common theme in this book has to do with the power virality holds. The authors of Going Viral argue that virality can reproduce and transform existing social and political norms, causing both social and political movements; they also argue that all of this power is controlled by so called "Gatekeepers." All of these arguments can be found on the tabs above. Enjoy!
